The Company
We are currently working with an internationally known construction/property company based in the heart of Sydneys CBD. They have a property portfolio ranging from retail, leisure and government and are considered to be one of the leading construction consultancies here in Sydney.

The Role
Due to an internal restructure there is a need to bring in additional resource in the group reporting team on a contract basis. Duties that will fall into your remit will be:-

• Assist in the preparation of the annual budgets
• Review and analyse all budgets with specific focus on expenses
• Analysing variances and providing commentaries
• Assist in preparing the monthly management accounts and provide commentary as requested.
• Direct liaison with non finance functions and project team

You may also be required to prepare reports for ad-hoc project based work as and when required  and will be responsible for consolidating group accounts on a monthly basis.

The Person
You will be a CIMA/CPA/CA accountant who has qualified in a corporate organisation or alternatively you may be looking to gain your first role in commerce after qualifying in practice. This is a 3 month contract and will ideally suit candidates on a WHV who are looking to secure an exciting and challenging contract role.
