This role requires a Linux systems administrator with some Oracle DBA skills that is used to working in a small dynamic team where tasks are broad ranging and involve developing, tuning and performance improvement as well as support and troubleshooting.  If your experience is exclusively in a large corporate BAU environment, it's unlikely that it will be a good match for you

This is a great opportunity for a candidate with mid-level experience who is ready to step up to a more senior level but is still happy to get their hands dirty!

Experience required:

• 5-7 years' experience as a Linux systems administrator
• experience working closely with, and supporting, a team of software developers
• Oracle 10g/11g DBA experience
• experience with VM Ware to replicate customer environments for UAT
• Ideally prior exposure to a software vendor environment
