Recognised as a leading international bank, our client has an opportunity for a Product Controller to join their dynamic and supportive product control team on a permanent basis.
 
As Product Controller you will be responsible for providing accounting expertise to the business. Duties include:  

• Prepare daily fixed income profit and loss reporting
• Analysis of Fixed Income securities, including CPI Swaps, Government Bonds, Credit bonds, Futures, Repos, Credit Default Swap and Mortgage Backed Securities.
• Prepare month end reporting
• Assist in the development of various systems used by Finance.
• Preparation and analysis of monthly balance sheet and sub-system reconciliations
• Prepare month end commentary
• Prepare monthly independent price verification and marking of the books.
• Liaise with the Front Office and be the first point of contact in meeting their information requirements
• Back-up support for other product lines, on daily profit and loss reporting
• Ad-hoc projects such as new product approval or other system development work.
• Preparation and distribution of the Financial Markets consolidated daily profit and loss report;
• Preparation of Head Office reporting
• Liaise with both internal and external auditors for responsible areas

A self starter, you will have had a minimum of 3 years experience in a Product Control function. You will have some product knowledge and ideally some experience in dealing with fixed income products.
