This pre-eminent financial services organisation provides a wide range of investment, advisory, financing and wealth management services to the Australian market.

As Financial Controller, Treasury Hedge Accounting you will provide end to end financial support, advice and solutions to the bank. This technically challenging role requires strong technical accounting understanding of AASB 139 and financial products.

More specifically you will:

• Run month end processing of hedge accounting information
• Provide timely information on issues and impacts of hedging month end results
• Implement improvements to the control environments across the hedging process
• Provide advice to strategic treasury project teams
• Provide input to managment reporting
• Balance sheet review, funding reporting and expense management

You will be CA or CPA qualified with a minimum of three years experience gained within a financial markets related accounting role. Working knowledge of financial markets and treasury products is essential as is an understanding of AASB 139. This opportunity is a high exposure role that will develop your leadership & project skills.
