We are currently working with an international property and construction business, who have recently won a number of key bids. The additional work load has stimulated the need for an additional resource in the internal audit division. You will be part of a small yet dynamic team whose responsibilities will include:-
 
• Undertaking a number of financial audits, including reporting the results of audit activity to the audit & risk committee of the board and internal stakeholders. 
• Ensure that audit activities meet professional standards
• Assist in the organisation's recognition and application of  sound governance and risk management principles and techniques.
• Provide feedback and written reports to teams and management from examination of controls in operation and under development
• As a member of the audit team, build on its reputation for objectivity, professionalism, relevance and quality with the board, management, internal clients and client agencies
  
You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal, facilitation and collaboration skills that provide credibility with Chief Executives and Executives. Any experience gained working within a construction and/or property business where you have been involved with key construction project audits would be considered highly beneficial.
